Oh this is funny!

My husband uses a back-pack and the fanny pack. Easier to grab things he needs. Don't have to stop, un-sling the back-pack and dig in. Especially when you're in a hurry and has a child. My husband uses the pack, I have a purse I got that goes across my body. It's perfect for us!

Hawaiian shirts? My husband owns many of them. He's a professor and his laid back approach is to teach in them. And it's fun. I smile when I see a Hawaiian shirt! It reminds me of Hawaii and our visit there together as a couple. We love Hawaiian shirts! :-)

We don't use the other things listed here, but I agree w Donna about the pants. for us, fanny pack and Hawaiian shirts are here to stay! :-))

Uh-oh, guilty on two counts. Hope the packing fashionistas don't report us. My husband wears a fanny pack. At this stage in life, there won't be any convincing him to leave it at home. And, yes, we wear zip off pants. Considering the way airlines luggage restrictions are deteriorating, you'll see us wearing our zip off pants on trips because they are versatile.

Love the tips, though I feel kinda hard done by that I don't own a Hawaiian shirt...

I actually met someone the other day who was hiking whilst wearing zip off pants. He got hot, so unzipped them. By the time he got back, he'd lost the bottom parts! I have visions of some Turkish shepherd wandering the hills in just the bottom parts of a pair of zip off pants, like a funny pair of gaiters!

Ha. Love the nose sunscreen tip. I have to say, though, if you are traveling to Italy and plan on riding on the trains, subway or visiting busy cities, you don't want to throw a backpack over your shoulders. (I learned this the hard way!) I always use an across the body messenger bag, instead.

My husband owned a fanny pack when I met him. When we started dating seriously, I think I threw it away.

Aww, can't I please wear my zip off pants? I promise not to wear them on the streets of London or Paris--just in the back roads, okay?
