Carolina Nomad’s Advertising and Editorial Policy You may notice that there are advertisements on Carolina Nomad’s website. Some of these may be for a publication that I write for or have a partnership with, as is the case with Uptake, and some ads are simply paid advertisements. Options for ads include banner ads and block ads, such as a 125 x 125 block. Advertisements can run from one month to 12 months. If you’re interested in finding out more about advertising and price structure, then use the contact form to send me an email. Carolina Nomad’s articles and content are primarily geared toward traveling to North and South Carolina and travel industry news, so advertisements should be geared toward this as well. Occasionally Carolina Nomad is sent travel products to review. These products are given for free, but do not guarantee a positive review. From time to time I will review these products and then do a giveaway with them. I’m often offered travel at a reduced or complimentary rate. This may be in the form of a free night stay at a hotel in North Carolina or South Carolina. Again, this does not guarantee a positive review, as Carolina Nomad strives to be unbiased and objective in all its information. If we are given a complimentary stay or a free product, then that information will be disclosed. If you have questions or comments about Carolina Nomad’s advertising and editorial policy, then please don’t hesitate to contact me. You may also contact me if you’re a business that is interested in a visit from me or would like a review of your product. Although most of the articles on the website are written by me, I do accept articles from writers with previously published work. If you have an article you would like to see published on Carolina Nomad, first send me a pitch, a couple samples of your work and brief bio and I’ll take a look at it. Thank you and Welcome to Carolina Nomad.
